This is the second year o the Croatian Journal for Public Health. It is following the concept of Health for all and health for everyone. Methods we use come form 'Small is beautiful' we believe that science is global, and its language is primarily English, but health is for and by the people. It should use national language. Central responsibility of the state in the 21st century is health of its citizens. In 19th century we started with international health and visions of health, in the 20th Word Health Organization, with 48 states, with Andrija Štampar from Croatia as its founder and visionary. In the 21st century we have 191 states in WHO, global health, global puzzle of health has began. Every state should perform responsibility for health of its citizens. Health in Croatia is a part of global health. That’s why we started the Croatian Journal for Public Health. To enable global communication we are initiating simple and accessible to all method of communication, translating just the titles of articles in the issue.
